I'M Nanci Kushner

Nanci Perle Kushner is a seasoned Pilates instructor who was able to make a living doing what she enjoys most for almost four years. Her early experiences in Pilates instruction involved working with Jumping Frogs Pilates. Based in Tenafly, New Jersey, the company offered Nanci Perle Kushner the opportunity to lead classes of varying sizes, allowing her to hone her skills in preparation for striking out on her own. In 2012, she established NPK Pilates, through which she focused primarily on teaching small classes and learning as much as she could about her clients’ personal fitness goals.

Prior to beginning her career as a Pilate instructor, Nanci Kushner attended both Syracuse University and Fordham University. At the former, she studied retail and marketing, emerging with her bachelor’s degree in 1987. She began attending Fordham University four years later, graduating with her master’s degree in education in May 1992. Many of the educational techniques she developed during this period proved useful in her work as a Pilates instructor.
